KANSAS CITY – The Crusaders’ playoff road ended in the NAIA national semifinal on Monday Night.
William Carey’s second half rally was not enough and ultimately fell to the No. 1 Georgetown Tigers, 94-83.
The Crusaders trailed by 18 at the half, but a 25-8 run following the break got them to within three. Georgetown held them off from that point on.
Brandon Cranford came off the bench to score a team-high 26 points. Dalen Dotson had 14.
WCU closes the year at 25-10.
